Digital Marketing Manager

 

What this position is about - Purpose

 

The incumbent will be responsible for creating and conducting JTI Jordan's digital strategy which will be derived from market initiatives/ focus and will support brand KPIs as well as sales.

 

 What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategy Implementation: Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web content, SMS, email, B2B & B2C platforms, and social media in line with the Brands' strategy and market objectives. Actively be involved in the development of Business Reviews, SPC & A&SP marketing strategies in conjunction with the Management team. This includes overall alignment, objective setting, strategic positioning,  and stewardship of the overall brand digital plan.
  • Develop & Implement DM Plans: Ensure timely and high-quality development & execution of all digital marketing plans after aligning with Brand Managers and brand initiatives, to support communication campaigns and goals.
  • Brand Strengthening: Strengthen the link between Freedom Music, Stay Free proxy branding, and Winston through innovative activations and online strategies to establish ownership over the music activation territory.
  • Understand and Analyze Market Needs: Understand the consumers and their needs, track relevant trends through Social Media listening tools (i.e Brandwatch and BuzzSumo), understand competitor movements to evaluate portfolio opportunities and set the strategic direction, and continuously monitor digital activities' health and performance. Ensure consistent market knowledge, insights & learnings are shared cross-function and applied to relevant activities.
  • Budgeting: Plan and manage the annual brand digital budget to ensure focus and time spent.
  • Brands Collaboration: Collaborate with Brand Managers to set a vision of how digital (activations, CRM Database, communication strategy, Social Media, and other digital mediums such as APP) will be used to drive brand growth whilst integrating the consumer segmentation insights on it to ensure a consumer-focused outlook and oversee the delivery of digital projects to market. Ensure all digital practices adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Activation Collaboration: Collaborate with Consumer Engagement Manager to enhance knowledge transfer specifically on product knowledge/brand strategies & programs/activations whilst securing a holistic strategy across all different touch points (on-ground activation and digital).

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • High standard of university degree (required).
  • MBA or equivalent educational background (desirable)
  • Minimum 5+ years of digital managerial experience in tobacco or FMCG marketing function.
  • Brand & portfolio knowledge, Understanding of programming, app, and web development.
  • Digital business analysis.
  • Possess credible international & market job responsibilities with sound cross-cultural exposure.
  • Solid background in digital strategic planning (Across owned platforms and social media).
  • Sound understanding of operational constraints and strong execution reflex.
  • Appreciation of legislation, external relations, and marketing standards in the tobacco industry.
  • Proven people management & leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic (oral & written).
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social media platforms, and related software (Social listening tools).
  • UX/UI knowledge.
