Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Manager 

 

 

A person on that position will be responsible for protecting the Company brands from the illicit trade. The Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Manager will introduce a strong presence to ensure proactive and preventative measures are implemented to protect both the company reputation and our supply chain. 

 

Position:

  • Developing intelligence: Responsible for enhancing and developing relationships with law enforcement and other Company Markets. Identify, recruit, and manage Service Providers (SPs)
  • Law enforcement liaison (LE): Support AITO Regional Teams efforts to impact on the smuggling of Company brands as well as any illicit sales of diverted genuine products. Organize illegal trade awareness and counterfeit recognition awareness for Customs and other law enforcement Agencies
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports/updates on the progression projects and core objectives, including the development and analysis of intelligence on all aspects of the illegal trade. Present orally to audiences within and outside of the company to demonstrate and explain AITO strategies and activities
  • Internal relationships: Work in close cooperation with other Company functions
  • Budgeting: Efficiently and effectively manage financial expenditure. Undertake robust financial planning and control and meet reporting obligations
  • Travel: prepared to travel within the Central Asia region and support AITO work on a global basis if required.

 

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Russian and English languages. Fluency in Kazakh language would be a strong advantage
  • Computer literate; experience in investigative/law enforcement operations/management or similar experience in private industry
  • A university degree in business, economics, law, or other related fields would be preferred
  • Experience in conducting and managing investigations in the public and/or private sector or in legal support services or the ability to demonstrate comparable business competencies
  • Experience in working effectively with local and regional law enforcement and intelligence agencies would be beneficial
  • Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications or similar.
