Position Purpose:

 

The incumbent will oversee the overall operations of the warehouses, coordinating the flow of materials and goods through production operations,

inventory control, materials handling, transportation, planning, worker training, and employee performance evaluation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure safe operations of the warehouses, compliance with safety requirements, and functionality of safety equipment.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, including stock replenishment, placement, handling, transactions, and disposal of obsolete stocks.
  • Coordinate efficient stock-taking, reconciliation, and periodic reporting.
  • Implement FIFO in stock movements and maintain updated shelf-life files.
  • Coordinate quality inspection of incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping documents.
  • Develop and implement warehouse management procedures and KPIs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of supervised areas and initiate improvement programs and projects.
  • Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team.

 

Who Are We Looking For:

 

  • BA degree (preferably in Logistics Management, Production Management, Engineering, business administration, and area of accounting)
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Labor Agreements, Internal Regulations, and Safety Policies
