IT Service Catalog Manager

 

What this position is about - Purpose:

 

You will support project implementation activities and subsequent ongoing continuous improvement / operational support through the design and implementation of Business Service Requests Catalog solution in JTI. This is a role in Global IT team, connected with supporting major projects within JTI globaly. 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide expert knowledge on process, design and system configuration
  • Keep up to date the standard approval and implementation workflows and catalog request form templates
  • Follow UI standards for presenting the information on the catalog items forms
  • Support GBS Service Delivery / Productivity Lead, GBS Solution Architecture & Development Manager and the other IT Process Analyst Managers in the analysis and evaluation of cross-process functionality changes
  • Maintain regression testing scripts and perform the necessary regression testing in the scope of Enterprise Service Management tool upgrades / releases; support implementation of approved changes; document changes done in Business Service Catalog
  • Ensure timely Service Catalog issues resolution; proactively take the necessary corrective actions
  • Establishes strong relationships with IT community; supports GBS Solution Architecture & Development Manager & GBS Service Delivery / Productivity Lead to contribute to their decision making; proactively escalates issues to GBS Solution Architecture & Development Manager and inform/update him/her about proposed/made decisions
  • prepare functional specification and follow up on implementation by external IT Service Provider(s), distribute tasks and coordinate; lead agile meetings and represent a team

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years of overall experience in IT (advanced working knowledge of JavaScript)
  • ServiceNow & Microsoft standard developing framework preferred
  • experience of VeriSM Framework preferable
  • experience in requirements analysis and applications development support is essential
  • service delivery management experience with 3rd parties
  • good level of experience in Project Management as developer in software development/ implementation projects and knowledge of agile methodologies
  • customer orientation, strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
