Business Expert Manager

 

What this role is about?

Business Expert Manager manages the implementation of major functional projects/initiatives. Being the expert in business processes and system functionalities in his area of specialization, you will provide consultancy on complex/critical issues to Business Technology Service teams and consultancy to business, bringing forward new functionality and/or solutions to ensure corresponding business functions can meet their established objectives in a timely manner.

 

 

What will you do?

  • Work with key stakeholders from the business to identify  the critical business requirements and to determine if the innovation path exists or can be integrated to improve business results. You will work with the business and IT teams to ensure that they have a clear understanding of what the market and IT suppliers are offering and participate in implementation initiatives
  • Drive the implementation of approved key/major functional projects/initiatives: new system functionality implementation ,and major business process redesign
  • Act as a senior business consultant to provide expertise both on a business process side and system functionality. Work proactively with the business to enhance/optimize existing business practices and to bring market best practices in designated area
  • Provide estimation on costs, project resources planning and timelines
  • Manage the functional activities such as blueprinting, design, fit/gap and configuration, unit and integration testing, data migration
  • Strive to investigate and bring forward new functionality (SAP or others) to the business that delivers added value and better meets the business requirements
  • Being responsible for defining together with other IT groups the  innovation and digitalization program in the Finance performance area , being up to date in the  AI concepts , Machine Learning, Robotics, and other solutions. Participate in definition of solution innovation roadmap

 

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Computer Science or in equivalent field
  • 10+ years of working experience on Financial Planning and Analysis applications environment
  • Proficiency in SAP FI S4 , BW, BPC , SAC in a global and multicultural environment
  • Business experience in related area is required
  • Proven experience in bringing innovation to the business, external insights, and new technologies
  • Strong people management experience and leadership abilities
  • Capable of evaluating existing  technology and propose innovation models towards AI or other technologies
  • Expertise of supported applications functionalities, application landscape and related business processes
  • Good knowledge of the key support and development request processes.
  • Familiarity with other pillar/work stream business processes and system functionalities
  • Strong project management skills and full awareness of quality assurance methodology (detailed knowledge of application testing, test procedures and test scenarios)
  • Fluent English – both written and spoken
