Cluster Procurement Manager Turkey+

Position purpose:

You will manage the procurement operations within assigned Cluster. This role has the following main dimensions:

- Lead Cluster procurement team (incl. performance management)

- Be accountable for Global/Regional strategy implementation and Cluster-specific ones if relevant

- Manage senior stakeholders (e.g. GM, Factory Director)

- Drive the team towards innovation & continuous improvement

- Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement mindset

- Foster cross-Cluster / cross Regional network

- Ensure all controls/policies are deployed and understood by Cluster procurement teams

- Role model in compliance and ethics

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Leads Cluster procurement teams and operations. Oversees team work allocation within the Categories, training needs, mentoring, performance appraisals and succession planning of direct reports to develop and motivate them. Drives individual development in the team.
• Global/Regional strategy implementation and development of cluster specific ones if relevant
• Develops a strong team including succession planning and appropriate development roles for potential leaders in Procurement and broader JTI organization. Develops a talent pool.
• Ensures business connectivity, build and maintain a strong business partnership with the senior management teams.
• Driving innovation, continuous improvement and synergies within the cluster
• Ensures all procurement controls/policies/procedures are deployed and followed in the Cluster.
• Ensures full compliance in the utilisation of digital technology for sourcing events and performance reporting within the team.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Master (MBA/MSC) is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement / Manufacturing Services / Finance preferably in a multinational company operating in FMCG industry
• X-location project management experience is an asset
• Advanced level of written & spoken English, Turkish is preferred, any other language is an asset
• Broad knowledge in business information systems and strong computer skills
• Strong people management skills & experience (experience in managing remote teams is an asset), mixed environment experience factory-market
