Technical Projects Engineer

Position:

As the Technical Projects Engineer, you will:

  • Lead technical and CAPEX projects from concept, feasibility, and scope definition through execution, commissioning, handover, and closure
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, contractor activities, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project delivery
  • Deliver industrial automation and digitalization projects involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, drives, sensors, and industrial networks
  • Identify and implement Industry 4.0 opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and decision-making
  • Support operational excellence initiatives through Lean principles, Loss Elimination, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with JTI engineering, quality, safety, IACS governance, and change management standards
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Finance, EHS, Maintenance, Procurement, IT, and external partners to deliver business objectives
  • Prepare business cases, technical reports, investment requests, presentations, and management updates

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial projects, automation, electrical maintenance, or manufacturing engineering
  • Good English
  • Good understanding of industrial electrical systems and automation, including PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, industrial communication networks, drives, and control systems
  • Foundational project management knowledge, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder management, risk management, and reporting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
