Technical & Functional Training Manager - Tobacco Processing
Join our team as a Tobacco Processing Manager! In this role, you'll inspire and guide your team to excellence, delivering impactful training and addressing skill gaps. You'll enhance GSC factories operations in machinery, quality, safety, and KPI improvement projects. Provide expert technical support, coordinate innovative IWS-related projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Supervise, mentor, and develop your team while driving success. About TFT (Technical & Functional Training):
TFT is a global JTI GSC function focused on upskilling employees, enhancing efficiency, and eliminating skill-related losses. With a team of more than 50 experts, we provide technical and functional training across multiple factories, supporting performance improvements and complex projects. Headquartered in Türkiye, our reach spans Romania, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Each year, we train 1,500+ technicians, execute key technical projects, and deliver both classroom and online learning, ensuring continuous development across JTI’s operations.
As the TFT Tobacco Processing Manager you will:

Lead and manage a team of TFT technical instructors, ensuring effective performance, task allocation, and structured training development.

Deliver technical training and develop efficiency improvement plans for personnel.

Provide technical support to factories, including machinery performance, quality, safety, and maintenance improvements.

Participate in technical projects, skills assessments, and training needs analysis.

Stay updated on equipment modifications, prepare technical documentation, and maintain training program accuracy.

Serving as a point of contact for internal and external functions (e.g., Global IWS Teams, Quality, Engineering, etc.).
Requirements:

STEM education (High School minimum); additional technical qualifications are an advantage.

At least 5 years of experience in the tobacco industry, with strong knowledge of tobacco processing (primary) equipment.

Deep understanding of technical training methodologies and equipment maintenance.

Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with global teams.

Experience in people management/coaching and in training delivery.

Fluency in English.
-
Availability for business travel approximately 70% of working time.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
