Business Executive

 

 

 

Position

 

The Business Executive identifies business opportunities, sets priorities, and, in collaboration with the Area Manager, defines next steps and objectives. The role is focused on developing business performance across the assigned territory (part of Palilula, Vračar and Zvezdara, and the wider area towards Mladenovac, including Mladenovac).

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Organize meetings with key retailers to improve brand visibility, availability, and support brand launches.
  • Maintain communication with priority retailers regarding overall performance and opportunities for joint growth.
  • Optimize trade resources and plan in-store activities to achieve targets related to product positioning, investments, and stock management.
  • Monitor market developments and identify opportunities and risks, proposing appropriate commercial actions in line with business priorities.
  • Maintain communication with distributor representatives across the territory and identify execution gaps and improvement areas.
  • Analyze reports and plan and implement activities based on sales, distribution, and visibility data.
  • Record retail visits and activities using digital tools.
  • Prepare customer engagement strategies and conduct negotiations with retailers, ensuring clear understanding of JTI arguments and priorities.
  • Implement activities aimed at delivering business targets and identify opportunities for collaboration and brand support.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Secondary school diploma or university degree.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the FMCG industry or in trade marketing and sales.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Very good understanding of retail operations from a commercial perspective.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Good command of English is considered an advantage.
