Trade Activation Specialist
The Trade Activation Specialist supports sustainable long‑term growth in the assigned market by analyzing market, sales and brand performance and by developing and implementing trade activation initiatives that strengthen brand equity and support sales objectives.
Position:
- Develop and propose integrated trade engagement concepts in coordination with Sales and Marketing, including brand trade programs, activation events, digital platforms, launches and communication waves
- Implement trade activation programs and events in line with sales expectations, brand positioning and JTI Excellence in Execution (JTI EiE) standards
- Coordinate with agencies and suppliers to ensure high‑quality delivery of activation materials and event execution
- Ensure timely delivery and distribution of point‑of‑sale materials (POSM – Point of Sale Materials) and other activation tools
- Analyze activation performance, provide recommendations for improvement and contribute insights to the forecasting process
- Support sales cycle planning, including analysis of previous cycles, preparation of future activities and briefing materials for field force teams
- Coordinate and monitor trade activation budgets, track KPIs and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Oversight and analysis of all budget lines related to M&S Croatia, ensuring timely reporting to the line manager
- Monitoring and analyzing consumer habits and preferences to ensure alignment with proposed field sales activities
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in FMCG within marketing and/or sales functions
- Proven experience contributing to consumer experience or brand activation activities across channels
- Fluent in English and Croatian, both written and spoken
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP knowledge is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical approach with well‑developed problem‑solving skills
- Solid project management capability combined with basic financial understanding
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and lead multiple stakeholders
