Consumer & Trade Activation Manager Croatia

 

 

Position

 

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of Consumer & Trade Activation strategies, ensuring strong brand presence across channels and delivering on key business KPIs through impactful market execution.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute consumer and trade activation strategies across key channels (HoReCa, retail, events, digital)
  • Translate brand plans into effective activation initiatives and ensure high-quality execution
  • Lead and develop the activation team, setting clear KPIs and driving performance
  • Manage activation budget end-to-end, ensuring efficient allocation, cost control and optimization
  • Track and drive performance against key KPIs, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement
  • Define and monitor trade visibility and merchandising standards across channels
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers, including coordination, negotiation and performance tracking
  • Ensure strong in-market execution through close collaboration with field teams and regular market visits

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Fluent in Croatian and English
  • University degree
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Minimum ~5 years of relevant FMCG experience, preferably in trade marketing or consumer & trade activation
  • Proven people management experience or strong leadership potential
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with external partners and suppliers, including negotiation
  • Strong analytical mindset with solid experience in budget management and KPI-driven environments
  • High level of ownership, independence and accountability, with a focus on delivering measurable impact
  • Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
