TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
JTI is a dynamic and competitive company that prioritizes developing its Field Force to meet business objectives. The company has an in-house Training & Development Academy with a dedicated team, which you will be responsible for leading.
The ideal candidate should have a forward-thinking approach to growing the skill base and stay current on the latest training methods and innovative engagement strategies.
As the Training & Development Manager, you will:
- Responsible for conducting skills gap analysis and addressing those gaps through relevant training on Field Force; JTI employees and Distributors' employees as well.
- Responsible for organizing training programs, including developing courses/ modules and translating training modules/materials from HQ to apply to the local context.
- Implementation of good training methods and evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs with up-to-date training methods and innovative ways to keep participants engaged.
- Maintain training database, evaluation database, and examination result database and oversee the outcomes.
- Need to liaise with all related departments and must have good communication skills and cultivate JTI's way of working with distributor's employees.
- People management: Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team.
Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Business (a teaching diploma is advantageous).
- With 5-8 years of proven experience in designing, arranging, organizing, and conducting training in FMCG or sales fields.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn other technologies, including training systems and equipment.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and open to change.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage international stakeholders as needed.
