Route to Market Associate
With the constantly changing market landscape, the RTM function needs to be established to play a significant role in driving sales operations efficiency and effectiveness for the JTI business. Given its growing importance, it will require an incumbent to support the RTM & MT Lead in developing and pipelining RTM strategies.
The incumbent will be directly responsible for:
- Streamline RTM strategy for different areas based on JTI commercial agendas
- Maintain a strong relationship with key business collaborators internally and externally
- Efficiently implement the coverage strategy, route management, channel strategy, and data analysis
- Ensure the field force understanding of coverage expansion/optimization
- Usage of RTM system (ArcGIS) and tools through training
As the RTM Associate in the area of Channel Development, you will:
Coverage & Route Management:
- Support the implementation of coverage strategy, route management, and channel strategy
- Work on a project of new segmentations and wholesale mapping
- Provide training to ensure the field team's understanding of coverage expansion & optimization guidelines, utilization of relevant RTM systems & tools, and coverage principles to support route & coverage implementation
- Update & maintain relevant documents related to coverage & route
- Review and validate the new route proposed by the regional field team before being proposed to the RTM & MT Lead
Distribution Performance:
- Lead, update, and cascade the guidelines for coverage expansion & optimization
- Implement and monitor relevant initiatives to improve distribution
- Monitor and analyze coverage productivity
Best Practices:
- Develop & communicate the best practices from other JTI markets, regions, HQ into the local context to optimize the sales operations efficiencies
Systems & Tools Usage:
- Acquire skill to use ArcGIS that supports analysis of market landscape and targeted consumer activation programs
RTM Reporting & Post-Mortem Analysis:
- Implement and adapt the reality of "RTM optimization strategy" including execution management surveys, reports, RTM toolkits, RTM dashboards,and distribution development by working closely with Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Leads to ensure that "RTM execution guidelines" fulfillment, alignment, and execution has been implemented as designed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any major
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Sales Operations, Route to Market/Consumer, and Territory Management fields in multinational consumer goods companies
- Functional Skills:
- Commercial competence
- Territory understanding & management
- Coverage & channel management
- Data analysis
- Business process & system understanding
- MS applications & operations
- English communication skills - fluent
