He / she is responsible to ensure all back-office information from Strategic Insights, Brand Equity and Trade Marketing are consolidated on time and briefed to the field stakeholders (Field Marketing & Sales) in-line with the 'Field Brief' work stream. Corresponsingly the incumbent supervises the communciation flow from the field to the back-office via the territory plans as part of territory planning. 
It is therefore pivotal to pro-actively manage expectations on both sides and collaborate with key Sales stakeholders on a continued bases.


This capability helps develop our investment prioritization for a given plan period in accordance to the the marketing team's strategic focus for each brand. He or she will be driving the implementation of information platforms that drive our strategy development such as the trade segmentation framework, Project Gauge, and GIS. 

This capability also manages the merchandising implementation strategy through the field briefs he/she develops & as well as planograms across all channels.


This team represents several key capabilities within Trade Marketing and the wider organization. It is therefore pivotal to provide suitable reportings that deliver the big picture on a regular basis. Given the high seniority of this role, it is expected reportings to be 'ready-made' for senior management (top-line, strategy level, big picture, link reports with the wider business implications). Important to ensure reportings are presented with a high level of professionalism and visual appearance to allow quick understanding. 


Position Requirements:

  • High standard of university degree (required)
  • Minimum experience in 5 years experience at FMCG marketing and sales functions at managerial level with outstanding communication, presentation & team leadership skills.
  • Must be process oriented and highly dynamic showing an ability to have an empathetic outlook in understanding the objectives of those he or she works with.
  • Must has a strong commercial background with a clear focus on trade & retail & shopper marketing and demonstrated affinity in digital & direct marketing.
  • Abstract, conceptual thinking & solid presentation skills are key assets.
  • Fluency in English is a must. 
  • Competent with MS applications - very good in business writing & giving presentations.
