Trade & Merchandising Specialist, Armenia

 

What this position is about – Purpose:

As a Trade & Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving offline consumer activation programs and selected trade activities across various channels. Your role will focus on engaging with target audiences to influence brand performance and consumer choice. You will also manage TPOSM development and execution during communication waves and support local C&TE and PPOSM teams when needed.

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

  • Execute approved offline Trade Activation programs across channels, ensuring timely reporting and investment control.
  • Organize trade partner activities (conferences, events) according to the yearly plan.
  • Manage trade incentives in cooperation with Sales, PPO, and Brand Marketing.
  • Support digital activation projects via B2B platforms.
  • Order and manage necessary incentives and materials for programs.
  • Execute temporary POSM communication waves, including proposal development, production, and delivery.
  • Generate ideas for impactful TPOSM solutions and conduct competitive market research.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and budget follow-up for communication waves.
  • Assist with warehouse activities and customs clearance when needed.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration and provide timely project updates.
  • Ensure quality documentation flow and clear reporting accessible to stakeholders.
  • Perform administrative tasks and support activation calendar execution.

 

Who are we looking for – Requirements:

  • Education: University degree or final year student.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Trade and/or Consumer Marketing; previous sales or field experience is an advantage.
  • Languages: Fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian.
  • Technical Skills: Confident PC user (MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Functional Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Marketing and Sales processes in FMCG.
    • Analytical and planning skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects of medium to high complexity.
    • Decision-making within area of responsibility.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Commercial awareness, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Stress resilience and ability to act decisively in crisis situations.
    • Fast learner, self-motivated, results-oriented, and striving for continuous improvement.
