Job Requirements

 

The job holder will work as a member of the R&D RRP Technology Centre team providing support to the design, development, and optimisation of reduced risk products to meet current and future JTI business requirements as well as JT/JTI Group strategy. With specific focus on supporting the product development process through the development and execution of mechanical, electrical and electronic tests, the role will require close co-ordination with both Technology and Project Management teams.

 

Skills and Knowledge required

  • A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and across functional boundaries to complete projects within required timeframes
  • Exceptional communication skills; including the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts to others
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage key tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Advanced degree or diploma in electrical and electronic engineering, or equivalent scientific ability based on relevant experience and education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and electronic testing or other related experience.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or Solidworks 3-D drawing software is desirable.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
