Job Summary

You’ll work as part of a team to provide agile support to the team and the UK Market for office operations, safety, health, wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion.

The Team

You’ll be part of the UK People and Culture team, reporting to the Inclusion & Office Operations Director. Our close knit, fast paced and outgoing team support our employees throughout the employee lifecycle to ensure everyone can be their best at work.  

What you'll do

  • You’ll provide agile support to the wider team and be the first point of contact for all stakeholders, escalating queries where required.
  • You’ll assist the team with implementing programmes, policies and procedures.
  • You’ll be responsible for raising all Purchase Orders and undertaking associated financial administration for the Office Operations, D&I, wellbeing and safety function.
  • You’ll initiate and create a variety of content for internal communications to advertise and support initiatives and regular communications based on the local strategies and calendars.
  • You’ll be responsible for developing and updating relevant online systems and portals ensuring content is engaging and relevant with other P&C colleagues.
  • You’ll plan, book and arrange relevant D&I, wellbeing and safety training courses in line with agreed timings including the preparation of all materials.

 

The skills you'll need

  • Minimum of 3 years' administration experience within a fast-paced role.
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
  • Methodical and organised and able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines, prioritising and handling multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • A well-developed range of interpersonal skills
  • Flexible ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Interest and passion in safety, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and mental health
  • Prepared to travel to other JTI and UK locations on occasions
