SAP Integration Suite Developer

What this role is about?

SAP Integration Suite Developer is responsible for managing all aspects related to SAP and non-SAP Integration developments including helping process teams with functional specs writing, writing technical specs, coordinating off-site developments, programming and testing, assisting with data cleansing and conversions. Assists SDC Development Lead in developing detail project plans for the area under responsibility, preparing status updates and providing the input on the overall project planning. Provides full time IT application expertise to process teams in support of the data conversion, interfaces and scripts. Advises power users and local IT on SAP technical issues in assigned functional area.

What will you do?

• Design, Develop, and implement integration flows based on SAP Integration Suite
• Provide Solutions and advisory in the process of Integration with new systems
• Participate in the planning of Process Orchestration and conversion of data
• Close collaboration with SAP Enterprise Architecture, Security and SAP Basis Teams to discover and provide the best solution according to JTI standards, considering Security, performance and quality aspects
• Participate and organize Proof of Concepts, develop documentation and proposals to improve existent solutions, to adapt business scenarios to the current technologies in the market
• Works closely with other team members and share with them knowledge on SAP Integration Suite as well as SAP approach to future implementations in this area
• Work closely with Global Support Desk on maintenance, intensive and post go-live production support:
  • Assist in identifying causes of issues and fix programming errors
  • Develop additional functionality to existing objects in compliance with JTI Change Control procedures, J-SOX requirements and development standards

What are we looking for?

• University degree or equivalent, preferably in the IT area
• 3-5 years of experience working with SAP
• Working experience in multi-national environment
• Experience working in virtual teams
• Project implementation experience would be an asset
• Good Documentation skills
• Experience in working with global single instance
• Practical experience of implementing global solutions for large international companies
• In addition to excellent technical skills, JTI desires people who can work as a team player who is able to teach people and share knowledge
• Fluency in English
