JTI Poland is looking for talented individuals to join the newly formed Digital Business Unit (DBU) and specifically the Digital Technology (DIGITECH) department.

Within the JTI global digital transformation journey, DIGITECH is responsible for defining, building, and running (BUILD AND RUN mantra) the new generation of an online platform (Digital Eco System) that supports the commercialization of JTI products (RRP and conventional).


Among a very international team, recently formed applying start-up methodology and vision, DIGITECH is looking for a hands-on, challenge seeker and toil adverse Technical Product Owner who takes part in our mission.


The Technical Product Owner (TPO) B2B Capabilities directly reports to the Program Delivery Manager and works closely with the Solution Architect, Operation & Development Excellence Manager, and the Technical Business Owner, who oversees business product roadmaps from a technology standpoint, to deliver projects. For doing this, the TPO B2B Capabilities will steer a team of external vendors and contractors and collaborate with other TPOs in the Digital Technology department.


The main purpose of the TPO B2B Capabilities will be enabling and driving the DBU business department Digital Customer Experience in the planning and (agile) realization and continuous evolution of B2B capabilities from MVP to handover to IT. 


Main areas of responsibility:

  • Review and translation of business demands into technical requirements (functional/ non-functional).
  • Detailing of user stories in close alignment with business and Agile development teams, including estimation of efforts.
  • Support in technology selection and alignment and consultation with IT (ongoing and on-demand) regarding technological questions (infrastructure, application landscape) and operational support, including identification of business product roadmap implications on technology and infrastructure setup.
  • Support in vendor/ contractor selection and management, including work organization and challenging/ sparring during the entire development process.
  • Support in adhering to technical quality and compliance through code and test reviews, including providing product descriptions for training and maintenance.

You as a professional:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study
  • 3+ years experience in working with and developing e-commerce and loyalty solutions, ideally in IT or e-commerce related B2B technical environments
  • 1+ year experience as technical lead or architect, including coordination of external vendors and contractors
  • Fluent in English in speaking and writing (additional languages are a plus)
  • Strong experience in delivering B2B e-commerce and loyalty solutions, applications and enterprise architecture, cloud applications & infrastructure, agile DevOps
  • Experience with Oracle CX or other B2B loyalty platforms
  • Proficiency in the optimization of salesforce operations through digitization using different technologies
  • Experience with managing multiple market/ language instances
  • Experience in driving architectural decisions and capability to independently manage software design and integrations
  • Experience with data technologies and products is a plus
