Desktop and Mobility Solutions Team Manager - Warsaw, Poland

 

Position Purpose:

Be responsible for JTI global workplace standards definitions including hardware and software standards, Virtual Desktop, digital workplace configuration, and ergonomics, and all packaged business client software. 
Be responsible for developing global mobile standards for smartphones and tablets as well as Mobile Device Management architecture and portfolio of standards and solutions.
To ensure that the team services provided to JTI markets and factories worldwide meet the necessary quality mark and provide an answer to the changing business requirements and needs, while remaining manageable and cost-effective, and in line with JTI global strategies and standards. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize processes of designing and providing JTI business with standardized, modern, flexible, and cost-efficient IT client platform (PCs, smartphones, tablets, virtual PCs) based on the best combination of hardware, operating system, productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office), cloud components and JTI line of business applications
  • Responsible for developing global mobile standards for smartphones and tablets as well as Mobile Device Management architecture and portfolio of standards and solutions, define the mobile standards that best suit JTI mobility business needs including types, models, brands, OS types
  • Ensure secure and efficient architecture for iOS and Android devices management with in-house and cloud MDM platforms and technologies in line with business requirements
  • Coordinate collaborative efforts of hardware vendors (HP, Dell, Microsoft, and others) and internal JTI technical groups to define and constantly keep up to date corporate workplace image
  • Support the development and maintenance of customized client hardware and software configurations and software packages to address specific business needs
  • Manage an assigned budget, monitor the team expenditure during the year, and take necessary corrective actions in case of need to meet budget targets.
  • Contribute to developing/improving required policies to govern lifecycle management, hardware and software standards, and Terms of Use

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in IT field;
  • More than 5+ years’ experience in project management and people management;
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Microsoft client OS (Windows 10), Office System (Client and Server sides), Windows, Active Directory, Office Communication Services, desktop virtualization technologies, deployment tools (SCCM);
    • Microsoft Cloud technologies: Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Conditional Access Policies  etc.
    • Mobile technologies: iOS, Android, MDM and Mobile Security solutions
  • Strategic thinking and understanding IT market and industry trends;
  • Solid IT Service Management experience, understanding of Enterprise Architecture fundamentals;
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide client solutions in Microsoft technologies environment and with enterprise-grade MDM solutions;
  • Experience working with service providers;
  • Fluent English.
