What is this role about

The position of AP Expert contributes to the overall efficient operations of the AP department and its high standards.
The objective of the role is to provide high-quality services to markets by: overseeing the timely processing of a high volume of incoming invoices and providing support when needed, analyzing complex queries, and ensuring high accuracy is delivered by the team according to the existing Policies and Procedures. Responsibility for JSOX controls execution. Monitoring of metrics and KPIs, identifying process gaps, and proposing solutions. Keeping existing process documentation up to date. Providing support to the other team members by onboarding new joiners, identifying gaps, sharing knowledge, and best practices. Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas. Manage first-level escalations and provide root cause analysis. Coordination of transitions and other ongoing projects. Potential risk assessment in projects and initiatives, proactively propose mitigation actions, and build backup plans. Building strong and effective co-operation with multiple internal and external stakeholders

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee and support the accurate and timely posting of high-volume vendor invoices in SAP, ensuring compliance with SOPs and company policies
• Analyze and resolve complex queries, manage first-level escalations, and deliver root cause analysis when needed
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, identify process inefficiencies, and propose actionable improvements
• Execute JSOX and other AP-level controls, maintain up-to-date process documentation, and ensure compliance across the team
• Actively support team development by onboarding new joiners, identifying skill gaps, and sharing best practices
• Coordinate transitions and participate in ongoing projects, including risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Foster strong, effective collaboration with key internal partners and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and take ownership of implementing selected ideas

What we’re looking for

• University degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting, with a solid background in PTP
• Fluent English
• Strong SAP knowledge, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Confidence in managing escalations and training new team members
