Data Governance Specialist
Position: The purpose of this role is to ensure the operational quality, consistency, and compliance of consumer data across the CRM ecosystem by actively analyzing data, identifying issues, and initiating corrective and improvement actions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational data quality checks using SQL and identify errors such as missing data, duplicates, and inconsistencies
- Analyze CRM and CDP data to detect inconsistencies, segmentation issues, consent-related problems, and anomalies impacting CRM performance
- Validate data flows across systems including source systems, CDP, CRM, and marketing tools, identifying points of data loss or distortion
- Ensure correctness of personal data and marketing consents in line with GDPR and support issue resolution with Legal and IT teams
- Initiate and define data validation processes such as checks, alerts, and dashboards in cooperation with IT
- Create and optimize processes for data quality improvement and crisis management related to personal data
- Collaborate closely with CRM, IT, Legal, Digital teams and external partners to resolve data-related issues and ensure consistency
Requirements:
- University degree in IT, data analytics, economics, mathematics, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, CRM/CDP, data quality, or data governance
- Experience working with consumer data (retail, FMCG, or e-commerce preferred)
- Experience with CRM/CDP systems, data integrations, and related tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign, OneTrust)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Good understanding of data quality, data governance, GDPR, and data flows
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Very good English and Polish
