Senior Talent Systems Manager (SuccessFactors) (m/f/d)
Purpose:
The position exists to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Talent 2 Value processes (Performance & Goals, Succession Planning and Calibration) within the People & Culture Technology landscape, primarily based on SAP SuccessFactors.
The role ensures end-to-end process integrity, solution optimization, and continuous enhancement of Talent processes globally, while serving as a trusted advisor to Business Process Owners and key stakeholders. It operates within a product-oriented delivery model, collaborating with Business, Product Owners, and BTS to drive continuous, value-driven delivery, measurable impact, and long-term product evolution.
Position:
Talent 2 Value Solution Ownership
- Act as global SME for PMGM, Succession and Calibration processes
- Own functional design, configuration and continuous optimization
- Identify innovation opportunities (e.g. AI-supported performance insights, skills integration)
- Ensure alignment with global P&C strategy and Talent Marketplace roadmap
Enhancements & Project Delivery
- Lead functional design and implementation of enhancements and projects
- Translate business requirements into system configuration and technical specifications
- Coordinate integration activities with Enterprise Architecture, Security and Data teams
- Support global rollouts and change management activities
Operations & Release Management
- Own complex incidents and major change requests within scope
- Support and manage quarterly SuccessFactors releases
- Perform regression testing and ensure solution stability
Recruitment Backup & Cross-Module Support
- Act as secondary SME for SuccessFactors Recruitment
- Support recruitment-related enhancements and incident resolution when required
- Ensure end-to-end Talent process integration across modules
Governance, Vendor & Documentation Management
- Manage vendor relationships within scope of responsibility
- Ensure documentation is maintained (configuration, process flows, test scripts)
- Ensure compliance with IT Security, Data Protection and J-SOX requirements
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- 4-6 years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors, preferably in Talent modules
- Proven hands-on configuration experience in: PMGM (Performance & Goals) and Succession & Calibration
- Exposure to Recruitment module (Recruiting & Onboarding) - required as backup capability
- Proven background in global project implementation and release management
- Exposure to working within a global, multicultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and vendors
- Experience supporting releases and managing system lifecycle
- Hands-on SuccessFactors configuration and solution design experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
