Product Configurator Analyst Manager (m/f/d)
Position Purpose:
The Product Configurator Analyst Manager acts as the Business Technology Services subject matter expert for the solution in the operational support model.
In this role, you will assess, implement, and test changes and enhancements, while coordinating maintenance and upgrades from the BTS side. You will ensure the solution remains aligned with business objectives, supports issue resolution, and contributes to continuous improvement in functionality.
The role requires strong functional and technical expertise, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also provide operational support, guide effective solution usage, and proactively manage risks and mitigations to ensure successful adoption and stable operations.
Position:
Business Relationship Management:
- Understand business needs and priorities within the Product Configurator end to end process. Understanding of impact on GSC/PLM processes
- Understanding of M&S business needs. To coordinate various initiatives to deliver business value in line with Digital and IT Strategy
- Provide functional expertise for owned application - Product Configurator , based on SAP CPQ - secure its adoption and proper use and coordinate evolution
Project / Change Management / DevOps:
- Work on the projects/demands under assignment ensuring the tasks under his/her responsibility are done as planned and aligned with JTI IT quality standards
- Secure project completion anticipating potential risks
- Manage project backlog for agile projects in DevOps (Epics/Features/User Stories) and Sprints planning / review
Product Configurator Implementation BTS M&S Manager
- Functional knowledge acquirement of the tool for configuration part, and understanding technical part (development)
- User Stories: business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements, discussing technical options to cover business requirements, integration testing before UAT, bug fixing and retest
Project Delivery & Squad Collaboration
- Take ownership of assigned user stories, ensuring they are delivered end-to-end and meet business and technical requirements
- Define and drive the technical implementation approach for user stories within the squad
- Own and support the solutions designed and implemented by project squad
- Collaborate with the Squad Lead to evaluate solution options and recommend the most effective approach
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or similar
- 6 years of working experience in IT function or IT consulting
- Experience with SAP solutions configuration, various SAAS solutions, software development and data integration
- Experience in solutions supporting Marketing and Sales HQ function would be a plus
- 4 years of project management expertise, working with remote teams
- Business requirements and processes analysis, mapping them to technical solutions capabilities
- SAP CPQ functional knowledge preferred or on SAP solutions for product management (PDM & PLM). Proven experience configuring the SAP system and writing functional documentation is a key.
- Solutions design and architecture, including but not limited to application design methodology (including Agile methodology), interface design, data models and mapping among systems, capacity planning, scalability
- Proven experience on Microsoft 365 tools, including DevOps
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to connect easily and efficiently with the members of the international virtual IT teams and Markets
- Ability to work autonomously
