People & Culture Manager
Position Purpose:
The People & Culture Manager serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders and employees, driving people initiatives that support organizational objectives and business performance. The role provides expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle, including talent attraction, talent management, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, and labor relations.
Working closely with the People & Culture Director and key Stakeholders, the position ensures that people strategies, policies, and practices are aligned with business priorities while remaining compliant with local labor legislation and company standards. The role also delivers day-to-day coaching and support to managers and employees, fostering a high performing, engaged, and inclusive workplace culture.
Through strong collaboration with leadership team and cross-functional partners, the People & Culture Manager helps build organizational capability, develop talent, drive change, and ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops employees with the skills, experience, and motivation needed to achieve sustainable business success.
What will you do:
- P&C operations
- Ensuring an employee-centric experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on seamless offering, onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers.
- Fostering effective collaboration with GBS Employee Lifecycle (ELC) team to deliver a consistent, smooth, and uninterrupted employee experience.
- Business Partnering
- Developing and applying People & Culture strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall JTI strategy in order to support current and future business needs.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and positions P&C BPs as trusted business partners by effectively managing key P&C processes.
- Overseeing the organization health by the means of key HR metrics and ensure Employee Engagement is supported.
- Advising employees and management on all P&C related matters.
- Being an advocate for JTI Culture: Promoting "Our Way."
- Rewards, Organizational Design & Staffing
- In cooperation with Service Delivery Directors reviewing organizational structure and advocating to ensure optimal and efficient setting up of each account in line with Organization Design principles.
- Overseeing sourcing activities within organization including shortlisted recruitment (when necessary), talent assessment, promotions and transfers.
- Proactively identifying recruitment needs while taking into consideration HC.
- Analyzing and preparing compensation scenarios in accordance with Compensation guidelines, ensuring internal equity.
- Educating leaders on organizational principles, preparing change management plans, and executing people-related changes (promotions, demotions, terminations).
- Performance, Talents and Career management
- Performance Management Processes: Monitoring, coaching, and consulting with line managers and employees.
- Owning Talent to Value agenda and making/influencig decisions that maximize the value from the talent (deployment, motivation, retention, etc.)
- Planning and Execution of Talent Calibrations.
- Consulting Employees: about Learning & Development opportunities in the company and helping them identify development needs for career progression.
- Employee and Labor Relations
- Managing difficult matters with confidence and seeking the best possible resolution, including compliance cases, behavioral issues, terminations, etc.
- Ensuring internal Regulations are aligning with local legislation.
- Working closely with the People & Culture Director to deliver on presentations, reports, leadership meetings etc. in addition to proactively making recommendations and sharing ideas, as needed.
- Leading assigned projects from P&C area.
- Managing various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.
Who are we looking for:
- University Degree, CIPD considered as a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant People & Culture experience (Generalist role, Talent management, Talent Attraction or C&B) within an international organization
- Experience in working with People & Culture systems (i.e. SAP, Success factors, People Central)
- Comprehensive knowledge of People & Culture processes (Talent Management, L&D, Rewards etc.)
- Sound knowledge of People & Culture Policies and Procedures
- Knowledge of Polish Labor legislation, ability to understand and apply Labor code rules
- Experience demonstrating ability to communicate and influence efficiently across the organization, including Senior Stakeholders
- Proven experience of effective working in a multi-cultural environment
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook),
