PIM Product Manager
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, and forward-thinking PIM Product Manager to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a global PIM solution that will become the single source of truth for our product catalog across all digital touchpoints.
This role is at the heart of our digital transformation - shaping how product data is created, governed, and shared across B2C and B2B2C ecosystems (and later expanded to B2B). You’ll drive the full lifecycle of the PIM platform, from proof of concept (PoC) and vendor selection to global roll-out and continuous improvement.
If you’re passionate about data excellence, scalable architecture, and seamless product experiences across markets, this role is for you.
Position:
In the role of PIM Product Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Lead the PIM Proof of Concept (PoC) initiative:
- Drive the evaluation and selection of the most suitable PIM platform, defining clear success criteria and leading cross-functional collaboration
- Align PoC outcomes with business requirements, IT architecture, and data governance standards to ensure a flawless implementation
Lead the Product Vision and Roadmap:
- Establish the future goals and direction for product information management within the organization
- Translate business needs into actionable product features and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and alignment with company goals
Coordinate Implementation and Roll-Out:
- Direct cross-functional teams in managing the deployment and phased market introduction of the PIM platform
- Collaborate on integrations with systems such as eCommerce, CRM, ERP, and DAM to guarantee uniformity and growth across the organization
Establish Governance and Integration Structures:
- Define and implement robust data governance frameworks, including ownership, workflows, and approval processes
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and compliance across all connected systems
Inspire Change and Adoption:
- Lead training, communication, and change management efforts to drive user adoption across teams and markets
- Act as the central point of contact for all PIM-related initiatives and improvements, encouraging a culture of collaboration and innovation
Ensure Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor performance, find opportunities for improvement, and stay current with trends and technologies in PIM and data management
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve long-term platform value and drive continuous innovation
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, IT Project Management, or Data Management, ideally in a B2C or omnichannel environment
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s in Data Science, Applied Math, or a similar technical discipline is a plus)
- Proven experience implementing or managing PIM or MDM solutions, from PoC through full-scale roll-out
- Strong background in data governance, data modeling, and taxonomy management within digital ecosystems
- Skill in linking PIM solutions with enterprise systems such as eCommerce, CRM, ERP, and DAM
- Outstanding customer interaction and project leadership abilities, showcasing a history of cross-functional teamwork
- Proficient in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, or German) are a plus
