                                       GSC Leaf & Blend – Central Costing Manager (m/f/d)

Position Purpose:

Within GSC Finance Leaf & Blend, we’re seeking a collaborative team member to join our team in the Leaf and Blend costing area on the STA (Short-Term Assignment) basis starting as of March 2027. In this role, you will actively contribute to the centralized preparation of Leaf ASP cost while supporting the standardization and stabilization of leaf standard costing centralization for our factories.

Working alongside our team, you'll play an integral role in establishing partnerships with stakeholders, offering valuable support and guidance to facilitate well-informed decision-making. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain an extensive global perspective on Tobacco Materials/Blend development. You'll have the chance to enhance your project management skills on an international scale while broadening your professional network across GSC, factories, Leaf Origins, R&D, and Leaf Planning functions.

Position:

• Actively participate in Central Leaf & Blend ASP cost planning, analysis, and reporting processes in close collaboration within GSC, including Leaf Origins and R&D, supporting the team in executing these tasks
• Support the coordination of the preparation and execution of Central Leaf Cost RollOut (CRO) for JTI SAP factories, ensuring meticulous gathering of cost-specific details from all locations
• Contribute ideas and assistance to drive enhancements in the quality and automation of Leaf CRO processes, working alongside the team to implement improvements
• Integrate new knowledge from the factories and planning functions into Central ASP Leaf assumptions and cost preparations and perform a role of knowledge trainer to factory finance representatives and team members
• Play a supportive role as a Finance Business Partner, aiding in the delivery of insightful analysis on Actuals/forecasted leaf & blend costs, assisting in communicating results within GSC and to other stakeholders, and aiding in the analysis and monitoring of the progress of new implementations, initiatives, and cost optimization projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Business Administration
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Controlling, Finance, Planning function within FMCG industry
• Expertise in product cost and advanced skills in variance analysis
• Strong project management abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, emphasizing accurate and timely delivery of financial information
• Collaborative mindset with a keen emphasis on teamwork and cooperation
• Accuracy and attention to detail while working within strict deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP financial modules and BW is essential
• Experience with VBA, Power BI, and other automation-focused technology solutions is a strong advantage
