GL & Asset Accounting Specialist
Position
As a GL & Asset Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end General Ledger and Fixed Asset processes, including transaction processing, month-end closing, and reconciliations. You will play a key role in supporting local and global projects, ensuring compliance with IFRS and JSOX requirements, and contributing to process improvements within a multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Process General Ledger and Fixed Assets transactions, including month-end closing activities.
- Prepare Fixed Asset and General Ledger reconciliations and month-end reports.
- Perform daily checks and consolidation data checks at month-end.
- Ensure timely closing of each fixed asset and GL period end in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements.
- Participate in continuous SAP and process training; support training of new joiners as a buddy.
- Take part in local and global projects as assigned by the Team Lead.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in a multinational company (preferably in GL or Fixed Assets department).
- Strong command of English (oral and written).
- End-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes.
- SAP S/4HANA experience required.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with month-end closing activities and transaction processing.
