Credit & Collection Team Leader (m/f/d)
The purpose of the role:
As Credit & Collection Team Leader you will be reporting to O2C Finance Manager in GBS O2C Team based in Warsaw. As a candidate you should have experience in Team Management and be Subject Matter Expert for O2C Finance scope.
As Credit & Collection Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Team Management
- Project Management
- Supervision of Daily Operations (e.g. sales order and credit limit management, cash management incl. collection and clearing, bad debt management, various reporting incl. aging, DSO etc.)
- Process Standardisation and Harmonization
- JSOX Controls and Compliance
What you will do – key responsibilities:
- Supervise Team to deliver high quality service to all Clients
- Team Management (e.g. regular meetings, development plan, performance discussions and appraisals, career planning, setting personal goals etc...
- Support Manager with setting up KPI and SLA based on business needs and ensure fulfilment
- Manage Continuous Improvement Projects (e.g. standardization and harmonization initiatives, productivity improvements, best practices etc.)
- Maintain Compliance with all company accounting policies & internal control
Who we are looking for:
Professionals skills
- 3 years’ experience in Team Management (10 + employees) in multi-country environment. Preferred Shared Service Operations or BPO environment
- Experience in Cash Collection and Risk Management
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Finance is required. Certification in International Credit Management and Certification on Trade Finance Instrument will be a plus
- Excellent English in both written and oral
- Good understanding of IT systems in general (familiar with SAP)

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to manage, coach and develop team members
- Demonstrate professionalism and proactive, can-do mindset in all interactions
- Analyse and solve problems quickly and thoroughly with clear action plan
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
