Consumer Office Finance Partner (m/f/d)
What this position is about – Purpose:
The Consumer Office brings together global capabilities across Business & Consumer Insights, Combustible Tobacco Products (CTP), Reduced-Risk Products (RRP) and Multicategory Execution, driving global marketing strategy, brand equity, consumer-centric initiatives, and innovation in Reduced-Risk Products (RRP) across the organisation, ensuring alignment with JTI’s overall strategic priorities.
The Consumer Office Finance Partner supports the Consumer Office team by combining hands-on execution of financial processes with business partnering and decision support.
The role ensures timely and accurate planning, reporting and financial analysis, while supporting effective investment management and performance tracking. The incumbent works closely with business stakeholders, partnering with the Consumer Office Finance Director and finance teams to maintain strong financial discipline, data integrity and governance.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
Management Accounting and FP&A:
- Drive and execute planning cycles (ASP, OL, LE, MYR), ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
- Coordinate, collect, validate and consolidate financial inputs within a business context in line with planning guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and headcount data
- Monitor performance vs targets, analyse variances and highlight risks and opportunities
- Support preparation of planning materials for leadership reviews
Business Support:
- Provide day-to-day financial support to Consumer Office stakeholders, including budget follow-up and issue resolution
- Prepare and deliver regular financial analyses, reports and ad-hoc requests within a business context
- Support preparation and coordination of business cases (BAPs, Memos), including gathering inputs and validating assumptions
- Track approved investments and initiatives, ensuring alignment between plans, forecasts and actuals
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across reports and deliverables
- Work with stakeholders to collect inputs, clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of financial outputs
Financial Accounting:
- Support management of functional accounting flows to ensure timely and accurate cost recognition
- Ensure alignment between planning, reporting and actuals
- Liaise with GBS and accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy
- Support cost tracking, allocations and cross-charges where relevant
Financial Governance:
- Ensure compliance with Operating Guidelines, JTI Policies & Procedures, JSOX and internal controls
- Support preparation and review of BAPs and investment documentation
- Guide stakeholders on financial policies and processes
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across systems and reports
Financial Process Improvement and Cost Management:
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, tools and reporting
- Support initiatives to enhance efficiency, simplify processes and improve data quality
- Analyse cost drivers and support cost optimisation
- Promote a value and cost management mindset within the function
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with GBS, FP&A and other finance teams to ensure smooth execution of financial processes
- Coordinate system-related topics (SAP, reporting tools), including issue resolution
- Ensure alignment and consistency of inputs across stakeholders
GFF Team:
- Support Global Functions Finance Director and team in ad-hoc analyses and projects
- Contribute to cross-functional finance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain and update process documentation where relevant
Who are we looking for – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage
- 6–8 years of finance experience, preferably in multinational FMCG companies
- Strong FP&A experience, with hands-on involvement in planning, reporting and business driven analysis
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and support decision-making
- Solid understanding of financial controls, accounting flows and governance
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both with detailed data and higher-level business topics
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset
Technical:
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, BW, Excel;
