Accounts Payable Associate

 

The Accounts Payable Associate plays a crucial part in guaranteeing the smooth and efficient functioning of the Accounts Payable department. This role is accountable for handling a large number of invoices with precision and promptness, addressing inquiries, and aiding in reporting tasks through data extraction. The position helps uphold high service standards for markets while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and encouraging productive teamwork within the team.

 

 

Position:

As the Accounts Payable Associate, you will:

  • Thoroughly manage numerous transactions on diverse platforms and systems according to SOPs, policies, and procedures, meeting critical metrics and goals
  • Manage invoice-related tasks, including sorting, scanning, archiving, and performing balance and statement of account confirmations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to simple inquiries, providing effective assistance for collaborators
  • Coordinate your workload efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and JSOX controls
  • Actively engage in team meetings and huddles, collaborating effectively with colleagues and supporting cross-team guidelines
  • Support reporting activities by extracting data for basic reporting tasks

 

 

Requirements:

  • Ongoing or completed university degree (Accounting/Finance is a plus)
  • Up to 1 year of work experience in GBS/SSC or Finance
  • English proficiency at B2+ level
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving approach
  • Focus on details, precision, and the capability to handle stressful environments
  • Fast learner with the ability to absorb knowledge quickly
  • Effective communication abilities and the capacity to handle own tasks efficiently
  • Team-oriented approach, comfortable in a multinational and cross-functional environment
  • Readiness to work with repetitive tasks and meet challenging deadlines
