Position Purpose

The position holder will be responsible for SI as well as for Market Research. The incumbent will support & lead the SI Team in collaboration with the current SI Lead and will be reporting to the Marketing Director Austria. This short-term assignment is scheduled at least until December 2021.

 

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing the brand portfolio, pricing, trade and distribution strategies but also track and advise on RSP within local competitive and legislative environment.
  • Setup and conduct ad-hoc researches. Moreover, constantly monitor each market/ segment trend from different sources (Retail, Audit, Consumer Research etc.).
  • Responsible for identifying additional portfolio opportunities and new product development by driving innovation with focus on reaching consumers and satisfying their needs.
  • Responsible for shaping in-market strategic direction as related to JTI portfolio, brand and trade.
  • Close collaboration with the marketing team, especially with Brand Managers on specific brands’ strategies.
  • Lead & development of the Local SI Team.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • University graduate preferably in the area of marketing, sociology, economics or mathematics/statistics and technical competencies to take care of the Consumer Online Panel
  • At least three to five years working experience in a similar position, preferably in an international company
  • German language skills are a basic prerequisite in addition to fluent language skills in English
  • Ability to work at a fast pace within a multinational environment and looking for better ways to improve the business by managing changes in an efficient way.

 

 

Our offer

We offer attractive working conditions in an international, dynamic company in a prime location in the 3rd district of Vienna. When meeting the requirements for this position and depending on qualifications and prior experience, we offer a yearly gross remuneration of minimum € 75.000,-.
