STRATEGIC INSIGHTS ASSOCIATE (m/f)

on a temporary basis for two years

 

 

JTI – Japan Tobacco International – is a leading international tobacco company with headquarters in Geneva. As part of the JT-Group, JTI sells its brands in more than 120 countries with around 45,000 employees in 77 countries worldwide.

Position Purpose

The incumbent supports the reporting of research findings to the supervisor as well as data analytics for market evolutions and trends. In addition, he/she takes care of ensuring JTI procedures and standards are executed in all Strategic Insights projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Constantly monitor and update Austrian market with the help of JTI Data Base and report relevant changes to internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Steadily monitor each market/segment trend from different sources

(Retail Audit, Consumer Research, Internal Sales, Market Reports, Official Publications, Studies)

  • Implementation of continuous follow-up and sound analysis of consumer, shopper, trade and competitive environment
  • Monthly reporting of trends
  • Work in close collaboration with the Strategic Insights team in the Headquarter, that is based in Geneva in order to ensure alignment and integrated activities                   
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request                                                                                

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree preferably in the area of marketing, sociology, organizational sciences, economics or mathematics/statistics
  • Up to two years working experience in designing and executing research studies, statistical analyses and reporting (FMCG market research is considered as an advantage)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Pro-active team player with an open attitude and mind-set
  • Structured work style
  • Fluent language skills in English, German skills are advantageous
  • MS Office literacy especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and QlikView

 

 

Our offer

An attractive work environment in an international, dynamic company in a good Vienna location. When meeting the requirements for this position and depending on qualifications and prior experience, we offer a yearly gross remuneration of minimum € 35.000.
