Maintenance Lead 

 

 

We are looking for a Maintenance Lead to provide technical expertise and drive the development and implementation of loss elimination and maintenance standards within the assigned production cell. Working closely with the cell structure, line team, and maintenance team, the role supports continuous improvement of preventive maintenance practices and ensures the effective application of IWS standards in daily operations. As a key technical partner to mechanics and operators, the Maintenance Lead helps build technical capability across the production organization and drives the standardization of maintenance activities on assigned equipment.

 

Position:

 

As a Maintenence Lead, you will: 

 

  • Drive the elimination of equipment breakdowns and improve maintenance performance within the assigned production cell through effective preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, providing hands-on technical support to mechanics and operators while partnering with the Cell Lead to resolve recurring equipment issues and prevent future failures
  • Develop and execute short- and medium-term improvement plans with the cell team, prioritising maintenance activities and supporting key initiatives such as planned stops and maintenance events
  • Own and continuously improve Daily Management Systems (DMS) and Integrated Work System (IWS) processes related to maintenance, breakdown elimination and performance monitoring
  • Implement and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards, ensuring maintenance activities are executed effectively and accurately tracked in SAP/EAM systems
  • Optimise spare parts management by monitoring usage, cost and stock levels, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements
  • Build technical capability within the production team by coaching operators and mechanics on equipment operation, maintenance best practices and IWS methodologies
  • Facilitate maintenance-related meetings, performance reviews and continuous improvement activities, ensuring key metrics, action plans and maintenance records remain up to date
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, policies and procedures, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Champion workplace organisation and operational excellence through the application of 5S3R principles across production and maintenance areas

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • High school degree. Technical school or equivalent is preferable
  • 2+ years of professional experience in similar position
  • Intermediate English and Swedish fluently written and spoken
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Automation and process control standards knowledge
  • Knowledge of Time based / Condition based maintenance, or similar experience of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) etc.
  • Basics of Spare Parts management
  • Knowledge of failure root cause analysis
  • Knowledge on SAP PM system, Quality Management
  • Knowledge on measurement and mechanics principles and Occupational Safety
