Cell Lead
We are looking for a Cell Lead to lead and coordinate the activities of an assigned production Cell, ensuring the efficient use of resources and delivery of high-quality products. The role oversees daily operations in line with Integrated Work System (IWS) principles, ensuring foundational capabilities, standards and routines are embedded and consistently executed across all shifts.
As a leader of the Cell, you will drive performance, continuous improvement and cross-functional projects to achieve business objectives while ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations. You will be accountable for product quality, material yield, equipment performance, and workplace organisation, while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability and operational excellence. Additionally, the role is responsible for workforce planning, capability building and the ongoing development of employees within the area.
Position:
As the Cell Lead, you will:
- Lead and coordinate an assigned production area, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality operations.
- Deliver production targets by effectively managing resources, priorities and team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Plan and coordinate daily activities, ensuring the successful execution of production, maintenance and improvement plans.
- Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement actions to achieve business objectives.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, training and career development support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, resolve operational challenges and deliver sustainable results.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding to ensure the right capabilities are in place for future business needs.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
- Foster employee engagement and continuous learning while encouraging collaboration and operational excellence across the team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Production Management or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience of working in production and with a managerial/supervisor function.
- Experience in Swedish Labor Law & Work Environment
- Knowledge of production technologies, project management, standards of factory improvement programs (KAIZEN, TPM, SMED, 5+S)
- Excellent English and Swedish fluently written and spoken
- Leadership skills (coaching and feedback)
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Solution-oriented mindset
