Title:  R&D Services Project Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team in the area of R&D Services at the Trier R&D Center, we are looking for two R&D Services Project Manager (m/f/d) in temporary employment, with a contract till the 30st of April 2026.

Your job mission:

As Project Manager (m/f/d) in the R&D Services Department, you'll be the driving force behind driving New Product Development (NPD) projects from an R&D perspective. In this role, you´ll be part of dynamic teams, handle packaging specifications, and drive tasks to completion. You’ll also optimize team performance using agile methods and improve processes for greater efficiency.

Your tasks:

• Leading and Innovating. Managing New Product Development (NPD) projects and initiatives, acting as a core or extended R&D team member in cross-functional projects.
• Packaging Expertise. Providing packaging material specifications, leading artwork development, and ensuring meticulous documentation.
• Proactive Task Management. Taking ownership of tasks from the Squad Backlog, driving them to completion, and communicating solutions effectively.
• Agile Collaboration. Improving team performance by meeting defined objectives and key results, following agile methodologies.
• Standard Creation. Developing global and brand standards, base artworks, and other references, applying sound risk management principles.
• Process Improvement. Initiating and implementing projects seeking to improve process efficiency and business performance.

Your profile:

• Relevant educational background. University degree in economics or adequate commercial education.
• Practical experience. Experience in the simultaneous management of multiple projects (multi-project management), in Packaging, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Marketing, or similar areas.
• Valuable knowledge. Deep understanding of production flow in cigarette manufacturing, material knowledge, and experience in packaging production or NPD.
• Special strengths. Strong proficiency in IT systems (especially SAP, PLM, and MS Office) and project management.
• Language Proficiency. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Suitable personality. Highly self-driven, well-organized, and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow. A customer-focused mentality with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Excellent skills in communication and working efficiently with teammates.
