Role: New Process Technology Coordination Manager (f/m/d)

What this position is about - Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible for the support of fundamental research of new processes to meet future regulations and to create new taste directions for Conventional Products (CP) and Reduced Risk Products (RRP).  
Support the development of new tobacco treatment processes for future products and transfer the knowledge of new developed tobacco treatment processes from table scale to Product Technology Center (PTC) scale. 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

•    Close cooperation and collaboration with JT on fundamental research of new processes to meet future regulations and to create new taste directions
•    Define important key quality parameters for newly developed processes to ensure product quality when upscaling to PTC and commercial production size.
•    Support of JT in technology scouting and in research activities conducted outside of Japan.
•    Planning, preparation and execution of trials in PTC or in collaboration with external suppliers together with trial result analysis and recommendation of next steps.
•    Support Technical Services Managers in upscaling of processes from table scale to PTC/Factory scale and on development and implementation of quality control procedures for new processes into commercial production.
•    Research and development of new tobacco treatment processes for future products.
•    Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

•    University degree (Bachelor or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Technical Chemistry, Physics, Material Science or equivalent education.
•    At least 3 years of business practice in the FMCG industry in an international environment. 
•    Experience in tobacco industry or FMCG in an international environment is advantageous.
•    Knowledge of the primary processing as well as experience in fundamental development in general is welcome.
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken; any additional foreign language is a plus.
•    Well-developed management and communication skills, as well as team oriented 
•    Willingness to travel and flexibility  
•    Excellent analytical skills and technical understanding   
•    Sound knowledge of the most common PC software applications
