In the R&D Product Technology Center (RPD) based in Trier is an open position as Coordinator Planning & Inventory PTC (m/f/d) to fill on a temporary basis until July 31, 2020.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination, planning and administration of prototype productions in PTC
  • Implement incoming sample requests in the production plan and prepare and verify final production documents
  • Coordinate on-time availability of test and pack material as well as sample shipments for PTC & Product Development department under consideration of tax & customs and shipment regulations
  • Request quotations for consumable material, test material as well as sample shipments and create purchase requisitions in SAP
  • Ensure correct inventory handling and storage of all test products, tobacco, NTM as well as Casing & Flavor material in PTC including documentation as well as monthly- /year-end count
  • Maintain and monitor material in SAP for DEP2 in the role of a Factory Approver and set up prototypes in QIMS
  • Support special projects within PTC under consideration of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001

 

Your Profile:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, postgraduate training or university degree in business administration is advantageous
  • At least two years of business experience in job planning within the tobacco industry in an international environment
  • Broad understanding of Primary tobacco processes as well as related Secondary production processes both for cigarette manufacturing and tobacco manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge of tax & customs, shipment regulations and in handling of hazardous goods
  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in an international environment
  • Open minded, ready to learn new things and flexible
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Sound knowledge of SAP, QIMS and MS Office applications, especially MS Excel, 5S-, ISO- and OHSAS-management systems
