Position Purpose

The primary role of the Sales Coordinator is to provide full administrative and organizational support to the Head of Sales and the underlying departments to include Regional Sales Managers, Commercial Planning Manager & Head of National Account Manager.

 

This position is based in our Head Office in Teaneck, NJ.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team including preparing presentations, updating marketing and sales project lists, organizing various meetings, hotel and travel arrangements.
  • Organize trade show activities in close cooperation with marketing and sales management to ensure appropriate company and product presence and appearance.  This includes booking of space and services, shipment of materials, hotel and travel arrangements, etc.  Includes the POPAR process on paying for trade shows and events that are planned by the sales department.
  • Track business initiatives outlined by the sales management team.
  • Help improve efficiencies with the sales team as volume continues to grow with our key customers.
  • Ensure that all sales documents and agreements are up to date and maintained per company guidelines.  Communicate important feedback from customers and cross functional departments internally.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • AA/AS Degree is required
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Experience with Concur and SAP is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set appropriate priorities; highly organized; work independently; strong interpersonal skills; self-starter; positive attitude; creative problem solver
