Position Purpose

Merchandising Manager is responsible for building , designing and planning of merchandising materials for all categories and channels to maximize the impact of JTI brands at point of sale to drive sales.

 

Responsibilities

  • Merge the brand strategies with field dynamics to design the most effective, innovative, eye-catching point of sales materials and tools for all categories.
  • Optimize the field materials for storage, inventory, cost, impact and from usage perspective. 
  • Manage all POS vendors, look for new ones, assess existing ones to improve cost and quality.
  • Manage POS inventories in all warehouses, prevent out of stocks, optimize inventory levels to manage warehouse costing. 
  • Manage trade  advertising strategies, budget and planning. 

 

Functional Skills

Proactive planning and project management  skills. Strong organizational skills to effectively negotiate and influence. Attention to detail and follow up skills are essential. Innovative and passionate mindset to look for improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years work experience in Trade &Consumer Marketing or Sales 
  • Fluent in oral and written English
