Position Purpose

JTI USA is seeking an experienced digital marketing associate to review, moderate and report on JTI’s infrastructure and content on our company’s various branded websites, B2B website and e-commerce website.  The digital marketing associate must have technical knowledge of website/e-commerce architecture and feel comfortable working as a liaison between the digital marketing team and IT.

The digital marketing associated must have a systematic, pragmatic approach to all tasks and work well in a team environment.  A deep understanding of e-commerce business and ability to make well-informed, timely decisions is a must.


This position is based in our Teaneck, NJ office.  



  • Assisting with business decisions as related to change requests, incidents, promotions and more
  • Working closely with external third-party agencies to ensure e-commerce related processes, such as payment, fulfillment, etc. follow best-practices, ensuring business continuity and growing sales
  • Collaborating and liaising with appropriate stakeholders to ensure rollouts of website changes are properly coordinated, UATs are completed and changes meet expectations
  • Aligning with the internal and global brand marketing teams as well as external agencies to create develop, standardize and implement e-commerce initiatives
  • Partner with cross-function teams, including product development, branding marketing, customer service, legal, corporate affairs, warehouse management and IT
  • Assist in various marketing projects, including promotional marketing, branding/strategy, analytics & reporting, organic marketing (SEO) and paid digital marketing, as needed
  • Scheduling and communicating intensive site maintenance and updates, as needed


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology, Marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience as a digital marketing associate
  • Unrivaled organizational, teamwork, and quality assurance skills
  • Superb data analysis and report writing abilities
  • A stickler for precision, creativity, and excellence
  • Eager about the role of technology in promoting business
  • Understanding of website/e-commerce architecture and change management
  • Preferred knowledge of HTML/CSS & javascript
  • Knowledge of adobe creative suite a plus
