Japan Tobacco International in Georgia is opening the position of Procurement Coordinator, Georgia, based in Tbilisi.

Main Responsibilities:




  • Search and qualify new suppliers and handle full tender cycle according to Company’s guidelines, evaluate and improve suppliers’ performance thereof
  • Create transparent and efficient category management in all categories under a responsibility
  • Identify and handle requirements for Marketing and Merchandising categories of purchases
  • Consult internal clients on purchasing and procurement processes (including SAP)
  • Ensure implementation, timely update and correctness of Negotiation Calendar (Action Plan for Negotiations)

  • Ensure accuracy of Purchase Orders and compliance vendor master data maintenance
  • Control compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the purchasing process
  • Control and support correct data in SAP for categories under responsibility


Contract Management & Payments:


  • Ensure all agreed commercial terms, responsibilities and penalties are clearly defined and integrated into a final contract 





  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from University
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement field, desirably in FMCG / multinational company
  • Language Skills: Fluent English and Russian
  • Computer Proficiency: PC literacy, 1C (ERP) or SAP is plus
  • Other Skills: Solution-oriented individual, excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills, flexible, persistent, time management and respect of schedule, good team player; self-starter, fast-learner, self-organized and disciplined, open-minded, energetic, pushing results, flexible, accurate.
