Sales Outlook and Forecast Manager
The Sales Outlook and Forecast Manager supports the M&S in providing Sales Outlook in a periodical manner by initiating cross functional collaboration to provide strong analytical support in identifying risks and opportunities of sales growth.
As the Sales Outlook and Forecast Manager in the area of Sales, you will:
- One M&S Forecast
- Assume ownership of the One M&S forecast and Consolidate bottom-up forecast from Territory / Zones / Regions. Establish a clear forecast assumption by coordinating with Field Sales and Marketing.
- Ensure proper communication of Sales Plan to other stakeholders and Senior Management
- Manage sales forecast for New Product Development (NPDs), Limited Edition Packs (LEPs) and other line extension by consolidating launch plans and creating pipeline numbers for each branch and DP warehouse
- Ensures assumptions and management directions in relation to the sales outlook were communicated down to the field partners.
- Volume Planning and Forecast
- Create detailed sales plan together with Supply Chain team to ensure product availability, taking into account the uplift from current baseline in line with trade programs, impact to total sales forecast with breakdown of the forecast by Distribution Channel, Branch, Brand, and SKU Level.
- Establish shipment targets by Distribution Channel monthly in line with the Annual Sales Plan.
- Manage sales forecast for New Product Development (NPDs), Limited Edition Packs (LEPs) and other line extension
- Review and assess actual performance versus target and identify if there is a need of adjustment considering on Market trend, structure movement (DP to DSO & vice versa) that is aligned with Sales Director.
- Inform the Sales Leadership on the latest volume performance
- Latest Estimate:
- Inform the Sales Leadership on the latest volume performance in a weekly basis showing the achievement per Channel / Zone/Region / Territory level
- Assess and report potential volume risk in per region that will impact delivering Sales forecast for the month
- Ensure forecast for the months is on track.
- Performance Management
- Monitor the Sales performance against forecast on a periodic basis
- Provide commentary on sales achievement to the Sales Leadership Team
- Provide support on Marketing Program initiative by creating a standardize criteria selection on target outlets and volume projection
- Identify drivers of performance + risks/opportunities for growth thru cross functional collaboration.
- Discuss and finalize with Field Marketing, and Brand proposed programs and/or solutions, including adjustments to current planned initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales planning or financial planning, preferably with multinational FMCG.
- Minimum of 3 years managerial experience
- Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
