GBS Data Analyst Associate

 

The Data analyst role will work on Data & Analytics initiatives with a strong focus on leverage data to accelerate customer and consumer experience. In this role will be responsible to unleash value of data to improve understanding and further knowledge of the consumer. The role requires a strong analytical and problem-solving background in the consumer and customer domain. He or she should be familiar with the insight generation process integrating and preparing large, varied datasets and analysing the data in order to uncover insights and recomendations. She or he is required to work with other business stakeholders, other data analysts and data strategists to define and develop data opportunities.

In addition to advanced analytic skills, this role is also proficient at architecting specialized models / computing environments, and communicating results.


What will you do?

 

  • You will work as a part of the Data and Analytics team in order to unleash the potential of digital data for JTI to understand and engage with customer and consumer.
    • Maximise the value of actual data sources available and and identify new data sources that could potencially add value for a better consumer/customer engagement, including internal and external data sources.
    • Work with rest of the Data & Analytics team to:
      • support on the KPIs framework definition across the different digital touchpoints
      • work with data strategist to help on identifying the areas of knowledge/ analysis to focus on
  • Support markets for improving consumer and customer knowledge and engagement by. 
    • Providing learnings from other markets that could be used in other markets 
    • Helping the markets with tools in order to measure engagement of each digital touchpoint
    • Generating ad-hoc in-depth data analysis in order to solve a market business question through the generation of insights and the recommendation of next steps and use cases (communications, digital activations, engagement, consumer knowledge, optimise conversion funnel)
  • Closely collaborate with Data Strategists, Data Scientists and Data Analysts to make sure the data collected is fully leveraged in each solution.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or a related field
  • Must have business professional expertise (with 3-4 years of relevant industry experience) in data analysis and insights generation across multinational FMCG organizations.
  • Able to collect and organise data from different sources in order to solve a business question 
  • Should be passionate about challenging and interrogating data and its interpreration 
  • Should be a creative thinker who can offer new perspective to analyse data and build storytelling. 
  • Able to uncover insights and drive clear and practical business impact through storytelling.
  • Must be able to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across functions.
  • Acts proactively to anticipate the future implications from actual decisions.
  • Digital mindset, consumer centric, entrepreneurial and curious.
