Cyber Security PMO Manager 


This position exists to play an integral role to plan, support, and organise Security initiatives and provide support to IT initiatives in which Security needs to be involved. As a Security Project Management Office (PMO), this position will assist with initiatives planning, definition of deadlines, prioritisation / re-prioritisation of activities, communication of projects and initiatives status and operational activities related to Security Center advisory (standard definition/updates timelines, definition of when/how current security posture metrics need to be communicated/escalated, continuous evolution of security roadmap considering evolving threat landscape and synchorisation between Engineering team and Innovation & Continuous Assurance Team on prioritisation of projects, participation in projects, and planning for next initiatives). 

What will you do?


  • Facilitate regular communication among different key JTI  stakeholders against Teams roadmaps, goals, objectives & milestones taking into consideration the different projects and initiatives in which Security needs to be involved and coordinate deadlines, actions and deliverables with Engineering and Innovation & Continous Assurance Team. Build general Technical Security Center short term and medium/long term action Plan/Roadmap considering new initiatives in which the team needs to be involved, Security Roadmap defined and changing priorities coming from Business / IT teams.  
  • Identify any issues and problems that need immediate focus and resolution, and leverage key resources across JTI to resolve issues quickly. Raise proper flags in case actions / deliverables / plans are not accomplished and deadlines are closed. 
  • Identify the need to consider new resources or make neccesary arrangements in the team based on additional requirements from IT and Business teams, projects priorities, main initiatives and changes in the evolving company landscape. 
  • Prepare performance & technical security reports with relevant metrics / KPIS agregating information gathered from the rest of the teams to ensure Management Team can take actions accordingly based on risks / misconfigurations / security violations / inefficiencies raised, etc. 
  • Facilitate information security governance through the implementation of a hierarchical governance framework, including management of an information security steering committee or advisory board to involve relevant main technical security stakeholders (SOC, TSC, SAP, RM, etc.) to discuss overall technical security strategy or specific topics in which several security teams may need to be involved. Manage meeting scheduling, coordinate next steps based on decisions taken and plan for activities to be performed. 
  • Support on the order of software licenses, solutions purchase, third-party services required, etc. Provide additional support on resource hiring process and on-boarding processes and external third-party resource management. 

Who are we looking for?


  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or relevant experience
  • 5 years of Technical Security management and experience in the IT environment of an international corporation.
  • Excellent team leadership and communication skills. Analytical, organised and efficient.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Analytical/problem solving ability
  • Ability to understand security requirements in a business context
  • Change management 
  • Security Management expertise in multicultural environments and big companies with different technological challenges and integrations with other subsidiaries / companies. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Coordination planner and people manager. 
  • Self-directed and can also work independently with minimal supervision focusing on the correct information being delivered to the right set of stakeholders at the correct times.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and assimilate different points of view
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Someone who can bring fresh ideas with a self-driving attitude.
  • Other Experience Required:
    • Security project coordination and Team management background.
    • Formal Security qualifications (CISM/CISPP) and appropiate security management training. 
    • Practical field experience in security project management. 
    • Experience on compilation of security reports and assessments and metrics / KPIs aggregation.
