WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to support the marketing function for Reduced-Risk Product (RRP) brands and the launch of JTI Philippines in the emerging RRP category, particularly by ensuring brand values and identity are reflected consistently across online and offline channels. The position assists in the creative development, execution, and implementation of marketing communications campaigns that promote JTI's RRP products to increase brand awareness and help foster brand loyalty. 

 

Internally, the role will work closely with various functions (Strategic Insights, Field Marketing, Corp Affairs, Legal, etc) for the conceptualization, production, and implementation of communication materials, both ATL and BTL. 

 

Externally, the incumbent will work closely with agencies and suppliers to bring to life communications and creative strategies with a consumer-first mindset. The position will also ensure all communication materials comply with Legal and internal guidelines.

 

Collaboration with other teams will be required to optimize the RRP communications (Corporate Affairs, Legal, M&S Digital, SI)

 

Further, support for special JTI cross-functional projects will be needed at times.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrated Marketing Support: Develops and executes marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are aligned with brand values, brand identity, tone of voice, and campaign messaging. Collaborates with other functions to ensure that campaigns are brought to life and communicated consistently across different channels through digital content, merchandising materials, or events, to name a few. Delivers on brand awareness communication objectives.
  • Campaign Material Production: Produces offline and online materials that deliver consistent campaign messaging, but optimized based on channel/platform and phase of the consumer journey. Manages agencies and suppliers to ensure quality of output, timeliness of delivery, and compliance with Legal and other internal guidelines. 
  • Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver internal stakeholder requirements, and gain support and resources for executing marketing campaigns. Collaborate with external partners, such as agencies, to ensure timeliness in meeting milestones and deliverables that translate into tangible results.    

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent vocational training in Communication Arts, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Creative Writing, etc. 
  • 2-3 years of combined proven work experience as marketing communications specialist/assistant/officer, communications campaign specialist, brand assistant, advertising account specialist, or integrated marketing specialist
  • Functional Skills:
    • Develops and executes communication materials (online and offline)
    • Works with Marketing Managers to ensure communications are aligned with brand values and guidelines
    • Coordination with Legal, Corporate Affairs, and other functions to ensure compliance
    • Go-to contact for marketing collaterals
    • Sets metrics and facilitates optimization and post evaluation of campaigns
    • Events management
    • Agency and supplier management
    • Campaign budget management and monitoring
    • Social listening and social media analytics a plus
    • Have excellent communications skills: written and verbal, both English and Filipino
