Data Science Data Modelling Manager

 

What this role is about – Purpose 

 

  • The Data Science Data Modelling Manager is responsible for developing and implementing data modelling strategies for omni-channel analytics.
  • The role leverages various sources of consumer and customer data to enhance CBU strategies and drive business growth.
  • The Manager closely collaborates with IT and other teams to ensure data integrity, seamless integration, and compliance with data governance policies. 
  • The Manager optimizes data structures for efficient analytics, integrates data from various sources, and engages with stakeholders to understand and address their data modelling needs. T

 

 

What you will do – Responsibilities 

 

Develop and Implement Data Modelling Strategies:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data modelling strategies for omni-channel analytics, focusing on leveraging consumer and customer data for marketing strategies and business growth.
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources and technologies to enhance data modelling capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data modelling strategies with business goals and objectives.                                                

                                                
                                                
Lead and develop Advanced Analytics Models:

  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models, including machine learning algorithms and statistical models, to support marketing strategies and business decision-making.
  • Optimize models for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy, ensuring they meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and analytics to continuously improve modelling techniques and approaches.                                            

                                                
                                                
Ensure Data Governance and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure data modelling strategies comply with data governance policies and standards.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on data governance best practices and compliance requirements.                                            

                                                
                                                
Data Integration and Structuring:

  • Lead efforts to integrate data from various sources for modelling purposes, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Design and maintain data structures and schemas to support data analytics and modelling needs.
  • Optimize data structures for efficient data processing and analysis, taking into account scalability and performance requirements.                                            

                                                
                                                
Stakeholder Management and Communication for Data Modelling related initiatives

  • Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their data modelling needs and requirements, ensuring solutions meet their expectations.
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using data visualizations and other techniques to aid understanding.
  • Collaborate with D&IT stakeholders and lead external consultants to define and prioritize data modelling projects based on business impact and feasibility.

 

 

 

Who were are looking for – Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field                                            
  • 5+ years of experience in data modelling, data analytics, or a related field. Data science
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data modelling strategies for omni-channel analytics Experience with data governance, data integration, and data structuring
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and business strategy.                    
  • Fluent in both written & verbal English (Excellent communication and collaboration skills)
