WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

This position is responsible for driving business process improvements via structured mapping, analysis and recommendation of solutions and management of project plans to increase efficiencies and ensure M&S data and digital ecosystem is sustainable and aligned with strategic business goals. 

He/She will support the Business Process Group Manager and work cross functionally (including external consultants) to manage all activiites related to project management and deployment of  M&S Planning tools, including and not limited to stakeholder management, business requirements alignment, communications and trainings. 

In addition, this position should act as the SPOC within Data & Foresight and wider M&S teams to shape and maintain process flows within M&S data/digital ecosystem.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Process Management [M&S Data Enabler]

    • Engagement with functional stakeholders and project owners for business flow deep dive understanding

    • Preparation of documentation, process mapping and flow charts

    • Analysis of business flows and recommendation of optimization opportunities

    • Stakeholder alignment of process improvement opportunities, business requirements and project plans

    • Close coordination with Data Science team to ensure business flows are aligned with backend data connections

  • Project Management [M&S Planning Tools]

    • Oversee project devleopment progress to ensure tool functionaliites, business logic and forecasting algorithms remain relevant to business requirements

    • Engage with relevant M&S teams to develop and align end-to-end planning processes and business requirements

    • Develop project plans including scope of development, expected output, project timelines and milestones delivery

    • Manage and engage with external vendors/consultants to outline clear deliverables, business logic and manage delivery timelines

    • Regular stakeholder updates to manage progress and changes in requirements

    • Preparation and delivery of presentation and documentations to facilitate stakeholder awareness and alignment

  • Change Management [Business Process + M&S Planning Tools]

    • Develop and implement strategies and plans to facilitate stakeholder adoption and tracking of adoption progress

    • Prepare necessary guidelines and conduct trainings/cascades in Train the Trainer approach for sustainable knowledge transfer

  • Business Request Management and Budget Management

    • Manage ad-hoc business requests related to data analysis and documents preparation

    • Point of contact for contract and budget management within Business Process Group to ensure compliance with internal Legal, GIP and IT guidelines

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or other related field
  • 5+ years experience in JTI and/or in other company (preferably within FMCG industry) within Marketing, Sales, Business Process, Business Analytics or other relevant field
  • Strong hands on experience leading and managing projects from conceptualization to development and completion
  • Experience within JTI or other tobacco companies is a plus 
  • Functional Skills:
    1) Proven leadership and project management skills with strong business acumen to build stakeholder relationships at various levels of the organization
    2) Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to identify opportunities and recommend solutions
    3) Strong business acumen with structured mindset to deliver recommendations in line with business needs and ability to prioritize multiple workstreams according to biggest business impact
    3) Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data and processes into structured and easy to understand insights/recommendations, supported with clear and accurate written documentations and presentations
    4) Confident to work with people from different functions and cultures for stakeholder management and trainings
    5) Superb time management and organization skills to manage multiple business requirements independently and ensure timely delivery of plans as committed

    Technical Skills:
    1) Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office
    2) Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Power BI
    3) Hands-on experience with business process management tools and software is a plus
    4) Knowledge and experience with Power Apps, Excel VBA, data management within Azure database or machine learning algorithms is a plus
