To strengthen our R&D Business Partner Office department (BPO) based in Trier/Germany, we are looking for multiple BPO Project Managers (m/f/d) in permanent and in temporary employment.
Your job mission:
TR&D Business Partner Office (BPO), formerly R&D Services, partners closely with global and regional stakeholders to enable the commercial execution of Product & Packaging solutions through seamless New Product Development (NPD) project coordination. We support global and regional product needs, market requests, and Business Development activities while managing NPD projects and product specifications with precision, agility, and close cross functional collaboration with Marketing, Global Supply Chain, and other R&D functions.

Your tasks:
- Conduct all pulled tasks, handle NPD (New Product Development) projects and initiatives as well as related requests from R&D perspective; act as R&D core and/or extended team member in cross-functional initiatives and projects
- Provide packaging material specifications, lead artwork development & documentation in the various systems and control related project documentation
- Proactively pull tasks (project tasks, non-project tasks) from Squad Backlog, take ownership, lead them to finish and communicate solution to other squads / BPO
- Contribute actively to the squad performance as per defined objectives, key results and the agreed agile ways-of-working
- Lead the creation of global and brand standards, base artworks and other development references, according to customer briefing and apply sound risk management principles
- Initiate and execute projects targeting at process improvements and business efficiency enhancement in alignment with other BPO stakeholders
Your Profile:
- Relevant educational background: University degree in economics or adequate commercial education
- Practical experience: Experience in the simultaneous management of multiple projects (multi-project management), as well as experience in Packaging, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Marketing or similar
- Valuable knowledge: Excellent IT system skills (especially SAP, PLM and MS Office) and English fluency (both written and spoken)
- Special strengths: Expertise in production flow in cigarette manufacturing, material knowledge, packaging production or NPD is considered an asset
- Suitable personality: Self-starting, self-organizing, self-responsible and proactive with a distinct eagerness to learn. Customer service mentality, ability to balance multiple parallel requests, excellent communication & collaboration skills
