Raw Material Supply Associate
The Raw Material Supply Associate is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant supply of raw materials (including NTM – Non-Tobacco Materials and Leaf) to support production needs. The role works closely with suppliers, Material Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams to manage orders, shipments, and material data while supporting cost optimization and quality standards.
The position will be based in Izmir and will report to Raw Material Supply Manager.
Position:
As a Raw Material Supply Associate, you will:
- Manage the full raw material order process, including placing purchase orders, confirming quantities and delivery dates, and following up on inbound deliveries in line with production and planning needs.
- Work closely with suppliers, Planning, and Logistics to ensure materials arrive on time, handle delivery changes, and resolve supply or transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate raw material and supplier data in SAP and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities to ensure data and process compliance.
- Share material demand forecasts with suppliers, monitor production lead times, and support cost‑saving initiatives such as inventory reduction, order consolidation, and lot size optimization.
- Support quality and compliance activities by participating in Material Review Board (MRB) processes, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and corrective actions.
- Coordinate inbound logistics for international deliveries of Non‑Tobacco Materials (NTM), prepare logistics and performance reports (KPIs), and support express shipments, insurance, and claims processes.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with SAP and knowledge of Rainbow is preferred, strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English and Turkish communication skills.
- Able to work cross‑functionally, manage multiple priorities, and detail oriented.
